Belthangady : Holy Orders were conferred on three deacons of St. Anthony’s church parish in Ujire on April 21 Saturday.

Pradeep Pinto and Anil Prashanth Lobo, newly ordained priests belong to the Discalced Carmelite Order, while Santhosh Naveen D’Souza is a Capuchin.

Bishop of Bellary, Henry D’Souza presided over the Holy Mass, which commenced at 9:30 a.m.

Apart from it, Carmelite Provincial Fr. Archibald Gonsalves and Capuchin Provincial Fr. Vincent Furthado and 80 priests belonging to two orders concelebrated.

The event concluded with a felicitation program.
