Mangalore : The much awaited Tulu film ‘Bangardha Kural’ directed Mangalorean Ram Shetty will be released in twin district in seven theatres on April 27, Friday.
The film ‘Bangardha Kural’ directed under the banner of Anand Films is the third tulu movie directed by Ram Shetty after ‘Dareda Seere’ and ‘Badkere Budle’.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on April 25, Wednesday, Mr Shetty said that the film was shot at Sunkadakatte, Moodbidri and other places. The film starred Shivadwaj and Bojpuri actress Paki Hegde. V Manohar is the music director.
The film will be screened at Jyothi theatre and Big Cinema in Mangalore and five other theatres in Udupi, Moodbidri, Puttur and Belthangady.
The film is about two family’s story. It has comedy, music, Karavali belt culture and action, he said. He also said that his son Anand Ram Shetty is playing villain in this film.
Actors like Thamma Lakshmana and Harish Rai were present at the press meet.
