Mangalore : Central Kannada Sahitya Parishath former president Harikrishna Punaroor released the book ‘Ajji Sakidha Pulli’, authored by novelist and Journalist Hamza Malar at Press Club on April 28, Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, Hariskrishna Punaroor said that the ‘Ajji Sakidha Pulli’ is a book which is to be cherished, since it reminds the conversation of grandmother and grandson to every people. Hence this book must reach every home.

The people of Dakshina Kannada must encourage the kannada literature and the young writers, he said.

DK Kannada Sahitya Parishath former president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura said that today the words used by the old people are disappearing. The saying by the grandmothers had a great meaning and beliefs which is not known to many youngsters. This book will revitalize all the memories of the old days.
