Bangalore : Officials at the Bangalore International Airport at Devanahalli have arrested a man hailing from Tamil Nadu and have seized around 483 sea turtles valued at over Rs one crore from him. It is learnt, the man named Mudur Moiddin (47) had planned to transport the sea turtles to Bangkok.

The turtles had been trapped from the seas at Chennai and were concealed in a huge red colored suitcase which caught the attention of the authorities. Officials say each of these turtle costs Rs 25000 in the international market.
