Mangalore: Hundreds of people from Mangalore who have booked Air India tickets to fly to various destinations are a great deal affected following the cancellation of flights, thanks to the ongoing strike of Air India pilots close on the heels of the management sacking 45 pilots and derecognizing the management of the Air India Pilot’s Union.

Air India’s policy of intimating passengers regarding flight cancellations that too via emails has landed passengers in trouble as in most occasions they are unable to make any alternate arrangement in the event of emergencies.
