Dubai: Oman police have arrested 24 Indian nationals including 13 women on the charges of cheating the public on the pretext of black magic and sorcery. It is learnt, all of them who had come to Oman to run business on a visiting visa were residing there unauthorisedly.

The arrest took place in a lightning raid following a complaint by a man who was cheated by them. Police have recovered human skulls, bones and chains etc used by sorcerers. Police said these men and women used to cheat the public after predicting their future and suggesting solutions to their problems.

The complainant had alleged that one of his friends was lured by these black magicians to purchase the magic stones which they had and that they had demanded a hefty amount when his friend had been to their place.
