Mangalore: “Sakkare” team was at the University College campus in Mangalore on May 22, Tuesday to shoot some sequences for the latest film by Mangalorean Abhayasimha who is the director of this film which is being produced by Shailaja from Bangalore.

“Sakkare” as the name denotes has a very sweet storyline. Several sequences of the film have also been shot at Suratkal and Madikeri.  The lead cast is Ganesh and Deepa Sannidhi of ‘Sarathi’ fame. Incidentally Deepa is also an alumnus of St Aloysius PU College in Mangalore.

Director Abhayasimha said the film is expected to be complete by July end, and will be released in September or October. Abhayasimha has already directed two other movies ‘Shikari’ and ‘Gubbachigalu.”
