Bangalore: Former CM BS Yeddyurappa has once again launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda. He asked CM to make facts clear regarding the letter he addressed to the CEC on illegal mining during the tenure of three former CMs.
Speaking to reporters at the Bangalore Airport enroute Mumbai to take part in the BJP National Executive meeting, Yeddyurappa said he had taken note of social activist Abraham’s statement and said he would not tolerate anyone speaking low about the party which he had nurtured with great toil.
If the CEC had directed the state government to give a detailed explanation on the allegations of illegal mining during the tenure of three former CM’s namely SM Krishna, HD Kumaraswamy and Dharam Singh, the allegation of Yeddyurappa is that the state government has opted a defensive technique in its reply.
CM Sadananda Gowda had in fact exhibited his shrewdness without making it clear whether a CBI probe was needed or not following Yeddyurappa’s pressure. Human rights activist Abraham had complained to the Lokayukta seeking probe against all the former CM’s who permitted illegal mining.
