Mangalore: Mangaloreans can wait for a great treat of entertainment and mimicry next month. Kerala’s renowned mimicry artiste Trichur Nazeer will present a non-stop 24 hour mimicry and musical show at Town Hall in Mangalore on June 14-15. Most important of all, the main aim of this programme is to convey the message of communal harmony. Entry is free for this show.
Informing this to pressmen on May 29, Tuesday, Trichur Nazeer said around 300 songs in different languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Arabic and Malayalam would feature in the show.
Nazeer is a great artiste who can imitate over 250 birds and animals and 100 film stars. His feats have even got a mention in Guinness Book of World Records and Limca Book of Records
He has over 6000 shows to his credit and has presented a 40 hour non-stop mimicry at New Delhi in 1992 and has played mouth organ for 101 hours continuously in Mumbai in 2005.
