Mangaluru : The Central Arecanut & Cocoa Marketing & Processing Co-operative Ltd. (CAMPCO) has announced the election schedule for its Board of Directors. The election notification was issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Cooperation, and the Cooperative Election Authority, New Delhi, via order No.CEA-12011/233/2025, No.32/2025-26, dated 5/5/2025.
A total of 19 Board Directors are to be elected. This includes 10 directors from Karnataka State and 9 from Kerala State, representing different constituencies4. Certain categories have already been declared uncontested. These include General Women, SC/ST, and A&B class categories from Karnataka State, as well as General Women, A&B, and C Class categories from Kerala State.
The election will specifically be held for the 6 General C class seats remaining from Karnataka State666. The voting is scheduled for November 23, 2025, at Sharada Vidyalaya, Kodialbail, Mangaluru7. The polling will take place from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The eligible voters for this election total 5576 C Class and 75 A&B Class members from both Karnataka and Kerala States9. For the Karnataka State C Class category election, 8 candidates are contesting for the 6 available positions.
