Bangalore : The CET 2012 results were announced by State Medical Education Minister SA Ramdas in Bangalore on June 6, Wednesday. Girls have bagged the top ranks in engineering, medicine, dentistry and architecture.

Students from Udupi,  Karthikeya of Poornaprajna College has bagged the fifth rank in engineering, while Chandana Acharya of Vidyodaya College second in Homeopathy.

If Archana Sasoor of National Public School, Bangalore topped in medical and dental rank list, Deepa M of MES Kishore Kendra topped the engineering ranking.

A total of 1,20,945 students appeared for the CET this year.
