Mangalore: Around 160 junior sisters of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany (Bethany Sisters) are participating in a renewal programme arranged for them at the Bethany Mother House in Mangalore. The programme was inaugurated by Sr Wilberta, Superior General by unfolding petals of a lotus. Three candles inside the lotus were lighted by Sr Mariette, Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province, Sr David Delaney, the resource person, and Sr Clara Jyoti, one of the participants.

Several such renewal programmes have already been organized elsewhere to gear up the organization for the centenary celebrations to be celebrated in July.  Sr Lellis, the assistant Superior General,  Sr Christella, the assistant Provincial Superior of Mangalore province and others were present on the occasion.
