Mangalore : The Rotary International Dist 3180 in association with A J Hospital & Research Centre, Kshema Hospital, Unity Hospital and Smile Train organized a free Cleft Lip and Palate Camp at AJ Hospital on August 7, Saturday.

Speaking after inaugurating the camp, Rtn Jnana Vasantha Shetty, Rotary governor dist 3180 said that earlier there was lack of such treatment in the hospitals and people used to suffer while smiling. But now the things have improved and the work of Rotary club and the hospitals has to be appreciated for conducting a camp, which helps to eradicate Cleft Lip.

Chief Guest A J Shetty, president of A J group of institutions said that the people must utilize the year long camp which is being conducted free of cost for children and adults of district and around.

B Ashok Hedge, General Manager of Karnataka Bank said that people must make use of the treatment without neglecting it, which will cost around Rs 25, 000 in general.

Dr K Mohandas Bhandary, Chairman, Rotary District Community Service in his presidential address said that doctors have joined together for a noble cause; hence society must cooperate with them.
