Panaji: Sri Rama Sene leader Pramod Mutalik has said that his organization would not disturb law and order scenario of the state.
The Sene leader’s statement comes a day after the Goa CM Manohar Parrikar warned fundamentalists against taking law into their hands, by stating that the hands of the moral policemen would be broken.
Speaking to reporters in Ponda taluk on June 12, Tuesday, Muthalik said a branch of the Sri Rama Sene, its first in the state would be opened in the next three month period. He also claimed that it was being opened following a demand by the Goan people. He also said he would be inviting the CM himself to inaugurate it.
It may be recalled here that Mutalik had earlier said his outfit would try to put a brake to the Western culture at night clubs and pubs in Goa.
