Bangalore:  Lokayukta police have filed FIR against former Chief Minister Yeddyurappa, Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani and three others in connection with the case pertaining to the allegation that they had denotified the land sanctioned for a hardware park at Devanahalli by creating fake records. Others against whom FIR is lodged are VP Baligar, the then Principal Secretary of the Industries Department, Shivaswami, Managing Director and Gangadharaiah, Deputy Director of Karnataka Udyoga Mitra.

Entrepreneur Alam Pasha had filed a private petition in the Lokayukta court on April 26 alleging that the accused had cancelled the 26 acre land sanctioned for the hardware park in 2010.

The court had directed the Lokayukta police to probe the case and submit a report. Accordingly, the Lokayukta has now filed an FIR against all the accused under Anti-Corruption Act.
