Bangalore: Former prime minister HD Deve Gowda has allayed rumours regarding his health and has said that he was doing fine.
Deve Gowda also said that he spends an hour everyday to write his autobiography which will be ready in another seven to eight months. He also said he has documented his over five decade long political career, its ups and downs and the joys and sorrows in his life in his autobiography.
On the Presidential election, he said ‘our’s is a small party and if at all anyone seeks our support, then the issue would be decided by the Karnataka and Kerala unit presidents.
He said it was regretting that the state cabinet has approved purchase of 76 acre land at Mudhola for Nirani sugar factory and recalled his movement to save farmers’ land at Mudhola. The Chief Minister should not bow to pressure, he added.
