Kasargod : Mystery shrouds the death of a woman and her daughter whose bodies were found in the well of their house at Vidyagiri in Kasargod on June 18, Monday.

Seemanthini and Savitha (32) are the  deceased women. Seemanthini  was a widow and both had none else but themselves. It is learnt, Savitha had applied for leave on Monday, possibly following the decision of the two to end their lives. Though police suspect this to be a case of suicide, the exact cause is not known.

Vidyanagar police  are conducting investigations.
