Bangalore: The High Court will on Wednesday give its final verdict regarding the anticipatory bail application of former CM Yeddyurappa, his sons and son-in-law in the mining kickbacks case.
On Tuesday, the advocate for CBI was questioned by the judge if there was a necessity to arrest Yeddyurappa and other accused for interrogation, to which the advocate replied in the affirmative.
The advocate also said there was a difference in the statements made by accused while arrested and while not arrested and also pointed out that Yeddyurappa and other accused had failed to give satisfactory replies during interrogation last Saturday.
The advocate for CBI also pleaded that the accused not be granted bail as there were chances of them influencing the witnesses as well as destroying evidences.
The court is likely to deliver its verdict by evening.
