Mangalore: Jewellery and cash were robbed from a house at Falnir which was burgled on Sunday night. The occupants of the house owned by Susheela Karkera were away when the theft took place. Even the tenant Balvindar Singh who stayed in the first floor was away in Nagpur. Things in the house have been scattered all over by the thieves in their bid to search for valuables. It is learnt, the burglary took place in the tenant’s house while the lower floor remained untouched.

The value of the stolen goods could not be ascertained in the absence of the owners of the house. Pandeshwar police are conducting the investigations.
