Bangalore: Another fresh trouble in the state BJP. Even as efforts are on by a dissident group in the state BJP to dislodge Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda and have its own candidate, State Minister for Municipal Administration Balachandra Jarakiholi has threatened to bring the BJP government down if any attempt was made to replace Sadananda Gowda by some other candidate.
This statement from Jarakholi comes in the wake of State Chief Eshwarappa too making it clear that he too was in the race for the CM’s gaddi. Just 13 MLAs are enough to bring the government down, he warned. He also said he cannot remain a silent witness if at all Sadananda Gowda was removed from his position.
It may be recalled here that the dissident group has been demanding convening of a legislative party meeting since long, with however CM remaining firm and stating that he would do so only if the high command directs him to do so.
