Mangalore : The artiste’s troupe from Southern Railway State Bharath Scouts and Guides, Palghat unit staged a street play at MangaloreCentral Railway Station on July 5, Thursday.
The team performed the play on the topic to create publicawareness on avoiding accidents at railway crossings in the entrance of theRailway Station.
The team of 15 artistes led by S. Afsar Ahmed, districtgoverning commissioner performed a play projected on the theme on how accidentscan occur at railway crossings and how to avoid it.
Speaking about the play, Afsar said most of the time accidentsoccur because of the negligence ofdrivers and railway crossings in thePalghat Division are manned.
Piyush Agarwal, divisional railway manager of SouthernRailways Palghat Division, and P. M. Radhakrishnan, station manager, participatedas the chief guests.
