Padubidri :  An electricity cable was cut off when a bus collided against an electricity pole in an overtaking bid  between two buses on the NH 66 in front of the Padubidri GP office on Friday morning. Fortunately no one was  hurt in the mishap.

The mishap resulted in disruption of traffic for some time. Both the buses which were involved in overtaking  were express buses.

No case has been registered  as the  bus driver agreed to pay the penalty towards the broken electricity pole.
