Bangalore : Hectic political activities are underway in the BJP camp with the different factions holding separate meetings. Meanwhile, MLAs have already begun lobbying for cabinet berth considering this to be their last chance.
If the Yeddyurappa faction has prepared its own list of names recommended for the cabinet, even Shettar seems to be ready with his own list as is the case with the Sadananda Gowda faction.
Meanwhile, in order to build up pressure and to see that there is no undue interference of the Yeddyurappa faction in the administration, the Sadananda Gowda faction has placed forth a demand for the constitution of a committee comprising Yeddyurappa, Sadananda Gowda, Eshwarappa, Ananthkumar and Shettar to take any vital decision regarding the party.
The BJP MLAs have been meeting BJP affairs in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan to air their views and Pradhan has said he will pass on the information to party higher ups Jaitley and Rajnath Singh.
Meanwhile, lobbying is also underway for the deputy CM post, while KS Eshwarappa is confident that he would be able to retain his posting. Moreover, so far there has been no practice of having a deputy CM in the BJP ruled states.
Meanwhile, Dharmendra Pradhan also met Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda and held discussions with him for over an hour.
