Mangalore: A Scorpio vehicle which was smuggling cattle was intercepted by the Suratkal police near Hosabettu. As many as eight cattle which were crammed in the vehicle, have been seized.

The vehicle was intercepted following a tip off and the vehicle was proceeding towards Mangalore from Udupi.  The men in the vehicle were however successful in giving the cops a slip. The seized cattle have been  sent to the cattle shelter at Pajeer.
