Mangalore, July 23, 2012: The Tulu film ‘Rampa’ directed by Rajan Lyallpuri and produced by Namratha Hegde Films Productions, owned by actress Hegde and Geetha Hegde is set to be released in the month of August.

Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on July 23, Monday, Actress and Producer Namratha Hegde said that Rampa is a comedy film directed by Rajan Lyallppuri, who has done over 40 films. Iqbal Darbar has given the music for the film. Including the implemented Hindi song, there are 4 songs.

Veteran actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar is acting in tulu cinema for the first time. This comical story will go over with a message and will have the masses rolling with laughter, he said.

Namratha Hegde, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Ajathashatru, Aravind Bolar, Ravi Surathkal, Prabhakar Shetty, Chandravati Vasanth, Shashiraj Kavoor, Shobha Shetty and others are the star cast in the film.
