Bangalore :  BBMP Commissioner MK Shankerlingegowda has informed that a penalty of Rs 3 lakh has been imposed on firms that have put up flex boards, banners, buntings and cut-outs unauthorisedly in public places in BBMP limits.

He said the BBMP has intensified operations to remove all unauthorized flex boards and hoardings  in the wake of a High Court order which has also directed to impose penalty on those erring.
