Udupi : Udupi District Mahila Congress President Veronica Carnelio has  said that one has to conclude that the BJP government in the state has miserably failed to put a check on moral policing incidents like the one reported from Mangalore.

Speaking to reporters, she said the latest incident in Mangalore has revealed that women got no respect as well as protection in the society. It is only when perpetrators of such attacks are severely punished that such incidents will stop from happening, she added.
