Mangalore: The St Agnes College in Mangalore which has strongly condemned the recent attack on a home stay wherein young boys and girls were targeted, has expressed its solidarity with the victim students.

In a press communiqué, Sr Prem D’Souza, Principal of the College, said the students and the management strongly condemned the acts of the custodians of culture.

“We do not need uncultured and uncivilized hooligans playing the part of governance. We denounce strongly the violent acts of the self-interested ‘moral police’ who spring up here and there, now and then in the name of ‘Indian culture”, the release said.
