Bantwal : State Minister for Ports and Mujrai Kota Srinivas Poojari visited the  residence of the two young boys who died of rat fever at Mittaparari in B Mooda village recently. He was accompanied by District BJP President Padmanabha Kottari and others leaders.

On this occasion, the minister instructed  authorities to maintain cleanliness and ensure steps to prevent spread of the disease. If  the two sons of Seetaram Poojari (45) died of rat fever, he himself, his wife and daughter Shwetha have been hospitalized.

A Rukmaya Poojari, former MLA , former TMC Standing Committee President Sadananda Malli and others were present.

Meanwhile, Bantwal TMC President Dinesh Bhandari has said the TMC would conduct fogging and  also sprinkle bleaching powder to wells as a precautionary measure.

On the other hand social worker, KK Poonja has requested the  TMC to get green cards for the victims so that they can get concession in hospital bills.
