Mangalore: Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar inaugurated the two-day STATECON-2012 organized by CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India) at the Dr TMA Pai International Convention Centre in Mangalore on August 25, Saturday. A two-day real estate exhibition was also inaugurated. The theme of STATECON-2012 is -Home for All.
The Chief Minister in his inaugural address, appreciated the organizers for organizing the event on such a large scale. He said housing for all is the motto of the administration.
Balakrishna Hegde, Member of National Executive Committee of CREDAI, who delivered the keynote address highlighted the problems faced by real estate developers. He also suggested the government to simplify the ever increasing tax structure.
Suresh Kumar, State Minister for Housing and Urban Development, C T Ravi District in-charge Minister and Higher Education Minister, Krishna Palemar, MLA, Ganesh Karnik, MLC, Gulzar Banu, Mayor, Yogish Bhat, Deputy Speaker, P M A Razak, President of CREDAI, Pushparaj Jain, Secretary, Nalin Kumar Kateel,MP, Susheel Mantri, President CREDAI, Karnataka, K C Naik, Chairman of STATECON-2012 and reputed builder of Mangalore were the dignitaries present on the occasion.
Rohan Monteiro, William D’Souza, Felix Albuquerque, Rajendra Kumar, Srinath Hebbar, Ganesh Bangera, N B Naga Kumar, President, CREDAI Mysore were among others present at the convention. The exhibition will feature stalls by reputed builders like Property infratech, K2 infrastructures, Northern Sky developers, Shakthi developers etc.
Over 1000 delegates are taking part in the two day event.
