Mangalore: Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar who was on a maiden visit to Mangalore on August 25, Saturday, after assuming charge as CM attended a spree of programmes.
In the morning, he visited the Kadri Park and inaugurated a developmental programme by planting a sapling.
Later at Circuit House he accepted grievances from members of the general public and also met officials of various departments. The issue of the increasing rat fever cases also came up for discussion.
The CM also assured to provide relief to children affected by Endosulfan.Nalin Kumar, MP, C T Ravi, State Minister for Higher Education, Yogish Bhat, Deputy Speaker, Abhayachandra Jain and UT Khader, Legislators and others were present.
