Puttur : A would-be-bride who was to enter wedlock on Monday sustained serious injuries when the private bus carrying the bride’s party  rolled off the road into a gorge  near Potladka bridge on Periyashanti-Dharmasthala highway near Kokkada on the evening of August 26, Sunday.

The mishap took place  when they were on way to Dharmasthala from Viveknagar in Bangalore. Another bus which was coming from behind had  the groom’s party.

The mishap is learnt to have occurred after the bus driver lost control over the vehicle.
