Mangalore : MCC health officer Santosh who was severely injured in a road accident near Derebail Konchady recently, has succumbed to his injuries on Monday night. He was 40 and had been  actively taking part in the raiding spree on unauthorized establishments  resorted to by the MCC recently.

Hailing from Mullakad in Mangalore, Santosh is survived by his parents, wife and two sons. The accident had taken place on Sunday, when the bike which Santosh was riding had hit against the divider seriously injuring Santosh. He had remained in the ICU of a private hospital, but did not respond to the treatment.
