Mangalore : PN Mayya, Principal of Sharada College, Mangalore said the paradox in India was that if thousands of people are suffering from hunger unable to have one square meal per day, on the ther hand, food grains were rotting in godowns in some places.
He was speaking at a workshop on ‘Dynamics and Dimensions of Food Culture’ organized in the city on September 11, Tuesday under the auspices of the Sociology – Economics Forum of Roshni Nilaya School of Social Work.
