Udupi: Scholarship amounting to Rs 33,10,210 was distributed among 750 students at a function held at Rajangana of Udupi Mutt on Sunday under the joint auspices of Vidya Poshak , Yakshagana Kalaranga and Sri Sode Vadiraj Mutt.

Sri Vishwa Vallabha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Sode Mutt, who distributed the scholarships said contributions towards education  will bring in a sense of fulfillment in the minds of the contributor.

Dr G Shanker, Chairman of G Shanker Family Trust, Vasudev Kamath of Prerana Foundation of Infosys, Entrepreneurs Purushottam Patel, Purushottam P Shetty, Pradeep G Pai, Secretary of World Konkani Students Scholarship Fund. SV Bhat, Vice President  of  Kalaranga and others were present on the occasion.
