Mangalore: Former chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda has strongly felt that the non-appointment of a new president for the state unit of the BJP, has only added to the present confusion.
Speaking to reporters at his office in Mangalore on September 19, Wednesday, Gowda, came down heavily on former CM Yeddyurappa for his reported statement asking the high command to continue Eshwarappa as the State BJP chief after he quit the Deputy CM post.
He also said the high command should make an appointment at the earliest to end the confusion. He also exuded confidence that the national meet of the party scheduled tobe held by this month would take a decision with regard to the appointment.
Gowda also admitted that there were differences in the party and urged the high command to settle the problems lest the party may have to face repercussions in the next elections which are not far away.
