Bangalore: If developments of late are any indication, there is every possibility of former chief minister Yeddyurappa quitting BJP to float a new party. It is believed that the former CM is waiting for the announcement of the new State BJP President and will then announce his decision.
It is a known fact that Yeddyurappa is eying the post, even as the party leadership0 is in no mood to grant him the post.
Two Yeddy loyalist ministers had recently met several party leaders including CM Jagadish Shettar on the issue following which the high command has clarified that there was no question of giving the post to Yeddyurappa.
Reports say Yeddy may quit the party by December. Meanwhile, there is also a question if the high command would come forth with any compromise formula to retain Yeddyurappa in the party.
