Mangalore: Campus Career Academy, the first coaching centre for competitive exams and Diploma Education in Arabic Language (DEAL) in coastal Karnataka, was inaugurated by Mangalore University Vice Chancellor Prof. T C Shivashankara Murthy on September 28, Friday.
In his address, the Vice Chancellor emphasized the need to lay more stress on education in rural areas, considering the increasing cases of drop outs. He also pointed out how the number of students who reach Colleges reduce to 15 million from the 220 million at the time of entry to schools.
Ganesh Rao S, Founder Chairman, Karavali Group of Colleges, Mangalore, inaugurated the computer lab and library while Dr. Muhammad Ifthikaruddin, Director, MESCO, Hyderabad, inaugurated the Diploma Education in Arabic Language.
Prof. M Abdul Rahman, Former Vice Chancellor, Calicut and Kannur Universities was among others present on the occasion.
