Kasargod: A large number of public including several Congress leaders paid homage to N Ramakrishnan, a senior Congress leader from the district. The leader had passed away at a hospital in Mangalore on October 1, Monday.

The mortal remains were placed at the DCC office at Vidyanagar. Among those who paid their tributes included , DCC president K. Veluthambu, Union Minister of State for Home Mullappally Ramachandran, former Ministers K.P.

Nooruddin, C.T. Ahemadali, and Cherkalam Abdulla, K Sudhakeran, MP MLAs N.A. Nellikunnu and P.B. Abdul Razak, KPCC secretary Sathishan Pacheni and Kasaragod municipal Chairman T.E. Abdulla.
