Mangalore: Kotak Mahindra Bank has launched a new advertisement campaign highlighting the bank’s attractive customer value proposition for its Savings Bank Accounts which yield higher than normal return on account balance, apart from a host of attractive value based services, informed Puneet Kapoor, Executive Vice President of Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Speaking to reporters in Mangalore on October 3, Wednesday, he said the ad featuring Subbu (played by Bollywood actor Vinay Pathak), an easy to relate next door character who epitomizes smart money management, in his inimitable style brings to life the premise that ‘A rupee saved could earn upto 6%+” denoting profitability and convenience for the customer who choose to open an SB account with Kotak Mahindra Bank.
He said as featured in the ad, an SB account with the Bank offers higher than normal interest rates on SB balances (6% for SB balances above Rs one lakh and 5.5% for SB balances upto Rs 1 lakh.) The SB account also offers many smart, value added options that result in substantial additional savings such as cash back on purchases done during using Silk Debit Card, home banking, doorstep account opening and just in time payment.
Puneet Kapoor further said the Bank’s value added services combine customer convenience and cash savings through facilities such as convenient account opening wherein a customer can place a request for opening a SB account online, while customers can also choose to open an account from the convenience of their home wherein on request a Bank representative will go to the customer’s place and assist in opening an account using a Tablet PC.
