Mangalore: An Ernakulam bound train was stopped at the Suratkal railway station for as long as four hours on October 4 night after a person identifying himself as  Anush  hailing from Ernakulam called the Manipal railway police saying a bomb has been planted in the train and another near the Karwar railway track.

After a thorough search of the train, the bomb threat proved to be hoax Police said the caller might be mentally deranged.
