Kundapur: Eighteen year old Ummer Ayan lost his life when the two-wheeler he was riding crashed against a school bus on the National Highway 66 at Gopadi here on October 7, Sunday.

It is reported that Ummer was riding at great speed resulting in the accident which led to the overturning of the school bus as the driver applied sudden brake in order to avert a collision only to land the vehicle upside down on the road side.

Ummer was a first PUC student of Gurukul Public College, Kundapur. Even a car which was behind suffered an accident leaving three in the car injured. They have been admitted to Chinmayi Hospital.

Kundapur police are conducting the investigation.
