Mangalore: The Democratic Youth Federation of India staged a protest in front of the ladygoschen Hospital in Mangalore on October 15, Monday urging for the early completion of the construction of the new building for the Ladygoschen Hospital in Mangalore. It may be recalled here that a portion of the historic building of the hospital was demolished some time back to pave way for the construction of a full-fledged building.
Addressing the agitators, District DYFI President Muneer Katipalla said the hospital which has been a ray of hope for women hailing from economically backward families and even the middle class, was facing a lot of problems in the recent past as it is now very congested and lacks several amenities.
Earlier, a protest rally was taken out from the DC office to the Ladygoschen Hospital.
