Mangalore : A warden of Mangalore sub-jail Puttanna Achar has been suspended in connection with the recent clash between under trials reported in the prison on Bakrid Day. In fact Puttanna was injured in the clash between under trials and had even lodged a complaint in Barke station.

Incidentally, he has now been victimized for the reason that the clash took place when he was about to distribute Biriyani to the inmates.

There is a feeling that an innocent warden has been punished when the real culprits have gone scot free.
