Mangalore : Residents of Bejai-Kapikad in Mangalore have submitted a memorandum to Mangalore City Corporation Commissioner on October 30, Tuesday demanding early solution to the several civic woes confronting their area. They complained of bad and ill-maintained roads as well as ruptured water supply pipelines which have remained unrepaired.
They also said their corporator Praveen who is also the former mayor has until now failed to respond to their pleas despite several appeals.
Even a construction site in the vicinity has added to the problems by releasing waste water in the open, they complained.
Copies of the memorandum have also been submitted to MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Deputy Mayor Amitha Kala, District BJP President Padmanabha Kottari and Deepak Poojari, corporator.
