New Delhi: India Against Corruption activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal is all set to make another big revelation on Friday. However, it is still not clear who will be his target this time.
The former RTI activist had in the recent past targeted UPA chairperson and Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra for his alleged land deals in Haryana, exposed the alleged embezzlement of funds meant for disabled persons by a trust controlled by External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid, improper business dealings of BJP President Nitin Gadkari and his involvement in an irrigation scam.
In his last expose, Kejriwal has unveiled the long-prevailing nexus between the big corporate houses and the governments, accusing them of crony capitalism.
The former aide of social-activist Anna Hazare also raised questions whether Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh is working under pressure from corporate czars or was he totally unaware of the developments at the apex levels.
During his press conference, he also blamed the previous BJP-led NDA government for providing undue benefits to the Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) owned by Mukesh Ambani.
Former Army Chief General VK Singh jumped in his support and said there was a need for thorough probe into the allegations made by Kejriwal with regard to corruption.
Interestingly, Hazare had earlier said that his former close aide Kejriwal may not be greedy for money but he could be power hungry.
