Mangalore:  There is a complaint that the demolition work of the Hotel Rajadhani building at Hampankatta in Mangalore has been proving a great nuisance to residents of the vicinity.

The complaint is that the works begin at night after 10 pm and continue till the wee hours.

Old people particularly are greatly inconvenienced. When the local corporator Ranganath Kini was informed, he had rushed to the spot at night and had informed the persons concerned of the grievances. But, locals complain that the works had recommenced soon after the corporator left the place.

Locals feel it is high time the authorities took cognizance of their problems and did the needful.
