Mangalore: Jadoo Sanje, a magical evening by ace stunt performer Samarth Shenoy left the audience mesmerized at the CV Nayak Hall in Mangalore on November 18, Sunday. The programme was held in memory of Samarth’s mother late Veenadhari who had fought for the cause of HIV positive people.
The evening was truly entertaining with magical treats by Rajesh Malli and his daughters Apoorva and Anjana, both students of Samarth. There was mimicry by Tasleema and songs by Vishwanath Bhat, Carstreet.
A book on basic and simple magic tricks authored by Samarth was released on the occasion.
Sanjeeva Poojari, a social activist and an HIV positive person, who is fighting for the cause of HIV positive people, Rajesh Malli, magician and Vilas Nayak, MD of Spandana TV channel were honoured.
Among others present on the occasion were Srikar Prabhu, Sabitha Kamath, Reshma Ullal and Rajendra Kumar.
The proceeds of the evening wee handed over to Sanjeeva Poojari to take care of the HIV positive children under his care.
