Mangalore: A disastrous road accident, in which  a Scorpio Van ran over two young men from Thokur at the Kudremukh Junction today at 7am killing both of them, has taken place on NH 17 near Mangalore. The Scorpio driver was rash in speed, eye witnesses said.

The accused driver, a young man Akash, son of Asha Shetty, was arrested by the police locally. The van driven by the teen-aged person came from Tanneer-bavi, and the driver (Akash) used his father’s car without informing parents. A murder case has been registered by Panambur police.
