Mangalore : Hakeem Kulur, Joint Secretary, Kulur Muhiyuddin Jumma Masjid, Panjimogaru have demanded a CBI probe into the Panjimogaru double murder case.

Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Dec 6, Thursday, he said that the police department have failed to trace the murderer of Raziya and her eight year old daughter Fathima Zuha even after one and half year.

Although various appeals and protests have been staged, DK police who have showed their ability cracking various case, have showed their inefficiency to trace the accused of the double murder.

In spite of handing over the case to CoD, no result has been received. Hence the case must be handed over to CBI.

He said that the copy of appeal have been given to MLA J Krishna Palemar and DK District in-charge minister C T Ravi.

K Ayub, President, Kulur Muhiyuddin Jumma Masjid, Ahmed Basheer, Secretary, and members Mohammed Haneef and Naufal Bawa were also present in the press meet.
